Juan Carlos Portillo

Born in Venezuela, Juan Carlos Portillo studied at a classical conservatory of music where he acquired his knowledge in music theory, harmony, and performance that later would shape his skills as a sideman, recording artist and TV commercial producer. Living in LA since 1996, Juan Carlos had the opportunity to develop his style and work in different areas of the music business, recording and performing various music styles such as Jazz, Rock, Latin Funk, Hip Hop, among others.
