Sam Meek

Sam Meek is a professional guitarist living in the Los Angeles area. Born and raised in rural North Carolina he was exposed to a variety of Roots music at a young age from family and friends. He started performing not long after and decided to study further at the Musician's Institute Guitar Dept in 2003. Since then, he has continued to perform and record in the Los Angeles scene. Some artists he has worked with: Chris Pierce, Paulie Cerra, Groove Legacy, Kirk Fletcher, Janiva Magness and Marcy Levy to name a few. Some of the recordings he is on were along with notable greats like James Gadson, Larry Carlton, Mike Finnegan, Randy Brecker, Joe Bonamassa, Travis Carlton, and Reggie McBride. He also performs at Spirit and Life Ministries in Pacoima, Ca.
