Baby Ndombe

Baby Ndombe is a congolese musician born and raised in Kinshasa who has been a member of the famous congolese band Wenge Musica Maison Mére. Fourth of 9 children, Baby started to play music at a very young age, influenced by his father who was a renowned musician in the Congo.

Baby Ndombe traveled and performed around many different countries, and even recorded an album in the US titled Tour de Babel. After a few years spent in Europe, he decided to come back to his homeland.

How we met:

We met Baby Ndombe in Kinshasa through PFC Band members Mermans Mosengo and Jason Tamba. Baby actually came to our Hotel and hung out with us for a week, becoming one more in the crew. People in the streets would come after him all the time and he would give away money as much as he could. There is no doubt he is a celebrity in the Congo!
