Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo is a unique blend of the old and the new. Here, tides of western influence swirl among a beautiful culture with ancient practices, beliefs, and ways. The resulting eddies bear an incredibly interesting fruit of ideas and possibilities unique to this part of the world. The juxtaposition of glass and steel skyscrapers looming over centuries-old temples and shrines and meticulously tended gardens is a fitting metaphor for the pulse of the people that inhabit this amazing city.
